If so, Fashion is your thing. In this highly practical course you will cover:

  • Pattern Development Methods and Techniques
  • Fashion Promotion
  • Manufacturing methods

This vocational course can lead you straight into industry, for example:

  • Retail apprenticeship

Or to a degree, such as:

  • Fashion Marketing and Communications
  • Fashion Design
  • Fashion buying and merchandising

“Fashion will allow you to work to your strengths, you will learn all aspects of the industry. For those with a creative eye, the most obvious role is as a fashion designer. There’s also less obvious choices such as: costume designer, fashion buyer, fashion merchandiser and fashion photographer. The industry is fast paced and exciting. My favourite part is watching an idea develop into a design on paper and progress into a 3 dimensional piece that is adorned and admired by others.”

Mrs K Cook (Teacher of Fashion)
